For dessert, you will find the delicious bakery Bis la Boulange just a few steps away from the Manor! Honestly, you must try their mille feuille pastry, they are to die for. This bakery is a must stop to complete your picnic assortment.  

Finally, you have to stop at the butcher shop Boucherie Bégin on your way back to your cottage: they have everything you need for your dinner feast! The perfect place to make your barbecue a real success.

Looking for a family outing in the evening? Have no fear, we have the perfect spooky night for you! Dare to take on the ghostly promenade Mystery at the Monastery? Get ready for a walk in the heart of the Old Rivière-du-Loup in the company of its former occupants. You will need your cellphone with data to view the videos and proceed to the next step with the help of clues given by the ghosts. Please present yourself at the Manor to receive all the instructions for your spooky quest. You can also enjoy the activity during the daytime, but we have to say that the nightfall gives the outing that spine-chilling ambiance we love! 

Discover the Old Town

Have you ever been to the Old Rivière-du-Loup? Your family will definitely enjoy the historical tour of this important district. Our guide will take you on a tour of the Manor, then around the neighbourhood, the St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church and finally the St. Patrick's Church. A great way to learn about the history of the city while taking a stroll down our beautiful streets. The kids will love it!
