Le secret du jardinier

Jérôme, le jardinier du manoir, porte avec lui un secret. Il aimerait bien vous le partager, afin de se libérer l'esprit. Mais que s’est-il passé? A-t-il vécu un amour secret? A-t-il été témoin d’un crime? À plusieurs endroits sur le terrain et dans le manoir, il a laissé des énigmes, que vous devrez résoudre grâce à des indices que vous devrez récolter pour découvrir son secret. De plus, par les énigmes et indices, vous y découvrirez l'histoire du manoir et de ses jardins.

L'activité a lieu tout au long de la journée. Il suffit de vous présenter à l'accueil du Manoir.

Visit of the Manor

Through the unique experience of a fascinating guided or self-guided tour, guests are invited to go back in time and immerse themselves into a whole different epoch, during which all the little secrets of the former occupants will be revealed. The room layout, the furniture and all the Victorian decorative elements were splendidly reconstituted to provide an insight in the everyday life of the Fraser family for a few hours.

Discover the Old Rivière-du-Loup and its churches

Find out how the Fraser seigniors were able to build a well-planned picturesque town. The “Discover the Old Rivière-du-Loup and its churches” tour offers a journey through time led by an interpreter-guide who will tell you the history of the heritage district and its most iconic buildings. The tour includes a visit of the heritage district of Old Rivière-du-Loup, and a guided visit of the Manor, St. Bartholomew church and St. Patrice church. Two tour departures are scheduled every day, rain or shine, from the Manor.

Set free the ghost of Alice Fraser

Alice Fraser is now a ghost, and her soul is trapped in a web application. She needs your help to escape! Using an interactive tablet, explore the Manor and answer the questions and riddles to set Alice free. Alice will make occasional appearances to guide you and tell her story. Will you be brave enough to help Alice?

A Ghostly Journey: Mystery at the Monastery

In the world of ghosts, time does not matter! Get ready for an all-new adventure in the heart of the Old Rivière-du-Loup in the company of its former occupants. This year, the adventure is called “Mystery at the Monastery.” Please present yourself to the Manor to receive the instructions regarding this challenge. Then, one at a time, the ghosts that have been haunting the neighborhood for more than two centuries will give you the clues to unravel the plot. *A cellphone with cellular data is required to view the videos.

Inside-Outside Exhibition

This summer,experience new things and have fun discovering new colorful concepts. Sixteen artists from the collectif Voir à l’Est are exhibiting their artwork at the manor's upper floor and gardens. Let yourself be guided by your curiosity.
