A Heritage Manor with a Modern Twist

The Fraser Manor is a stately home that was built in 1829, but its important history does not prevent us from offering a modern experience, using up-to-date communication tools!

A New and Improved Brand Image Inspired by History!

For several months now, the Fraser Manor team and its board, along with the communication agencies C’est carré and Fanfare, Fanfare, have been working on revamping the Manor's identity.

Nouvelle identité visuelle du Manoir Fraser développée par l’agence Fanfare

For several months now, the Fraser Manor team and its board, along with the communication agencies C'est carré and Fanfare, have been working on revamping the Manor's identity. The new logo was strongly inspired by an anecdote featuring Alice Fraser who resided in the Manor during the summer from 1950. Rumor has it that when summer came, Alice would place a bouquet of flowers by the front window of the residence to announce her presence and invite the neighborhood to visit her. This little story influenced the graphic design reminiscent of a window frame and floral-shaped outlines inside.

The Fraser Manor: An Important Establishment in Rivière-du-Loup

In addition to its new brand image, the Fraser Manor’s website has also been updated, allowing a better presentation of the establishment’s history, the Fraser family, and their influence in the city’s development in the 19th century. Through an insightful process, aimed to ensure harmonized and organized content, a main communication baseline has emerged:

"Fraser Manor, the story of a city, the story of a family, the story of a visit."

This new banner is a reminder that the Fraser Manor is not only a prestigious seigniorial residence that has been remarkably restored, but it is also a beacon of Rivière-du-Loup's heritage. For 150 years, the Fraser family resided in the Manor and greatly influenced the development of the city of Rivière-du-Loup throughout the 19th century. A visit to the Manor allows you to step into the daily life of this family and discover the city’s history. The marketing identity had to encompass all these significant aspects.

A Broader Spectrum

The marketing and communication approach is part of a broader modernization process already initiated by the organization, which in recent years has focused on expanding its offer, now including interactive activities, treasure hunts using smartphones, and a virtual exhibition.
